Kirsten Sahs (Sandra) Kirsten is a company member of Famous Door Theatre in Chicago, where she won the Joseph Jefferson Award for Actress in a Principal Role in Beautiful Thing. Other Famous Door credits: The Increased Difficulty of Concentration, Greenland, and Tiny Dimes; also Conquest of the South Pole and Salt of the Earth, which both received Joseph Jefferson citations for Production and Ensemble. Kirsten received a Joseph Jefferson nomination for her Blanche Dubois in A Streetcar Named Desire with Shattered Globe Theatre. She understudied Death and the Maiden with Steppenwolf Theatre. Other Chicago credits: Marc Anthony in Julius Ceasar; Custer; A Moon for the Misbegotten; Benefactors and The Count of Monte Cristo. Kirsten played Germaine in Steven Martin's Picasso at the Lapin Agile at Briar Street Theatre, directed by Steppenwolf's Randy Arnie. She was recently seen on television in "Cupid."
